A 26-year fund services veteran in the midwest is on the rise at FIS.

This month, Columbus, Ohio-based Jeff Young was promoted to director of product operations, asset management at the financial services software giant. He previously served as director of client services for FIS' transfer agency services.

Young declined to comment. An FIS spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Before joining FIS in 2017, Young worked at Ultimus. Earlier, he led HASi, which Ultimus acquired in 2015. Prior to joining HASi in 2010, Young worked with Wealthstone, the Coventry Group, and Bisys. He is an alumnus, twice over, of Ohio University.
