A Saint Petersburg, Florida-based
Franklin Templeton employee with 15 years at the company departed earlier this month.
David Russell, previously a national account manager focused on US offshore sales at Franklin Templeton, moved on from the firm on December 7,
MFWire has learned. He worked for ten years as sales manager-outbound sales at Franklin prior to that role, and also worked at Pioneer Investments as a regional sales consultant, AdvisorCentral as a client account manager, AIG American General as a supervisor/regional consultant, and Boston Financial Data Services as a client services associate.
"A search is underway for his replacement," Stacey Coleman, head of corporate communications for the U.S. and Americas at Franklin Templeton, tells
MFWire.
Russell did not immediately respond to a call for comment.
Geraldine Cook, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Russell graduated with a bachelor's degree in international business from Northeastern University and with an MBA from Webster University.
