News summary by MFWire's editors

2018 is coming to a close, and that means it's time to weigh in on the best ETF shops of the year.

Managing Director
On Monday Dave Nadig, managing director of Cboe Global Markets' ETF.com, opened up nominations (including self-nominations) for the 2018 ETF.com awards, for which they will team up with former sibling Inside ETFs (now part of Informa). Nominations will close on Thursday, January 3, 2019, and the winners will be revealed and honored at the sixth annual ETF.com awards dinner on March 28, 2019 in New York City.

Once nominations close, a nominating committee (with folks from ETF.com and its allies) will pick up to five finalists for each award, and then an awards selection committee (of people from the industry) will vote on those finalists to pick the winners.

There are 31 different awards categories: some for firms, some for ETFs and other products, and one for individuals.
