A top marketing executive is leaving Pimco [profile] after more than six years with the fixed income giant.

Tara Anne O'Brien

Tara O'Brien, who had served as senior vice president and head of channel marketing in the Americas, no longer works at Newport Beach, California-based Pimco, MFWire has learned. She had been based out of Pimco's New York City offices.

Pimco spokeswoman Agnes Crane confirmed O'Brien's departure but was not immediately able to comment further.

An alumna of the University of Maryland, O'Brien joined Pimco in 2012. Prior to that she spent 12 years at Nuveen in a variety of marketing roles, and before that she worked with Calvert and Mitchell & Associates.
