former chief is leaving after a decade with the company.
, executive director of national sales for institutional banking and asset servicing at UMB Bank, is moving on from the Kansas City, Missouri-based firm, 401kWire
has learned. There is no word yet on how Fischer's duties are being handled.

, current president of UMBFS, did not return calls for comment.

, president of institutional banking at UMB, tells MFWire
in an emailed statement. "Our internal team structure is evolving to ensure we are aligned to best meet the needs of our clients."
Word of Fischer's departure comes four months after Quill succeeded
Fischer as head of UMBFS while Fischer shifted
into his latest role, leading business development for institutional banking. Since then both Fischer and Quill have reported to Cornelius.
An alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, Fischer joined UMBFS in 2008 and rose to lead the business in 2014. Prior to joining UMBFS he worked at Bisys, SEI, Merrill Lynch, and Delaware.
