A ten-year
Neuberger Berman [
profile] veteran recently took a top job at global alternative asset manager based in the Midwest.
Jon Fox, partner and global head of business development and investor relations at
Värde Partners,
confirmed on Wednesday that New York City-based
Ria Nova joined the Minneapolis-based firm as head of Americas business development and investor relations. Nova most recently served as head of national accounts for Neuberger's advisor solutions group (ASG), which focuses on the broker-dealer channel.
Nova did not immediately return a call for comment. Neuberger spokesman Alex Samuelson declined to comment.

An alumna of both the University of Rochester and Harvard Business School, Nova
rose to head of national accounts for Neuberger's ASG in early 2016. Prior to that she held a research role in ASG, and earlier on she worked in business development in Neuberger's offices in Hong Kong. She joined Neuberger in 2007 after working with Lehman Brothers Asset Management. (Neuberger was part of Lehman at the time.)
Värde has more than 270 employees worldwide, working with $13 bilion in AUM.
