Abby Johnson is on the rise. So says
Fortune, which just
ranked the
Fidelity chairman and CEO as the fourth most powerful woman in business, up from fifth last year.
The magazine
released its 2017 list yesterday, and Johnson is not the only fundster on the rise.
Mary Callahan Erdoes, CEO of
J.P. Morgan Asset Management,
ranked 27th this year, up from 30th in 2016.
One of Johnson's key lieutenants, Fidelity Personal Investing president
Kathy Murphy, also
returned to the
Fortune list, again at rank 35.
