Yesterday, Cindy Dash and her Matrix team kicked off the Broadridge subsidiary's 17th annual Get Connected conference. Nearly 500 401(k) and banking industry insiders are gathering in the Rockies for the three-day conference. As always, the event is being held at the Keystone Resort in Keystone, Colorado and features traditional conference sessions and receptions as well as outdoor networking activities.

Speakers scheduled to take the main stage at the Matrix conference include: a comedian, Louie Anderson; two former NFL players, Bo Eason and Karl Mecklenburg; a famous former airline pilot, Sully Sullenberger; and a provider lobbyist, Sean Cassidy of Voya [profile]. On Thursday, 401(k) industry insiders in Atlanta are gathering for BBQ and beer after work at the SweetWater Brewing Company, for the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association's (DCIIA's) Atlanta Ambassador Networking Event. Invesco [profile] and LCG Associates are hosting the event.

Also after work on Thursday, MFWire Summer Networking continues, this time at Naples 45 in midtown Manhattan.

On Friday, the ASPPA College of Pension Actuaries (ACOPA) will host its 2017 ACOPA Actuarial Symposium. The two-day event will be held at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago. ACOPA is part of the American Retirement Association (ARA).
