Fundsters whose funds are on the new
Pershing no-transaction-fee (NTF) ETF platform called
FundVest ETF are praising its transparency, education and research tools, and more. It is available to all Pershing broker-dealers and RIA clients who choose to turn it on, and it does not include purchase minimums or minimum holding periods.

Bill Belden,
Guggenheim Investments managing director and head of ETF business development, tells
MFWire that they are "aware of the implications of cost to clients" and the "increased visibility to our products...The key value proposition is the implications of the visibility Pershing provides as part of their underlying advisor base." There are 39 Guggenheim ETFs participating on the FundVest platform.
David Fajardo, SVP of
Direxion, tells
MFWire that "inflows and ETFs are growing at a rapid pace" and commends the NTF FundVest ETF platform because of its cost efficiency that makes it "great for investors and advisors at the same time." There are four Direxion ETFs participating on the FundVest platform, and they are strategic beta and buy and hold ETFs.

OppenheimerFunds. OppenheimerFunds will offer four revenue weighted ETFs on Pershing's new platform.
Dan Draper, global head of PowerShares by
Invesco,
states that Invesco will be providing PowerShares ETFs on FundVest ETF to bring more investment solutions to clients who are looking for cheaper platforms for investing in smart beta and factor-based plans. "We believe bringing PowerShares ETFs to this new platform will expand the availability of our ETF solutions while also giving advisors the thought leadership and research tools necessary for selecting tailored funds for their clients," states Draper.
