Daniels has been elected to the board of directors. He also serves as operating partner of AE Industrial Partners, LLC.

Promotions: Douglas Jamieson, Agnes Mullady

Jamieson has been named president and CEO of the company. He has replaced Marc Gabelli and Mario Gabelli as president and CEO, respectively. Mario Gabelli will now serve as executive chairman. Marc Gabelli continues his role as a portfolio manager and an executive of GGCP, Inc. Mullady has been named executive vice president. She also serves as president and COO of the Gabelli Funds Division, and she will remain as SVP of GAMCO Investors.



Company: The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)

Promotion: Stephen Cutler

Cutler has been appointed large form governor. Cutler also serves as vice chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Cutler succeeds Gregory Fleming in his new role.



Company: Prudential Investments

Promotion: Yanela Frias

Frias has been named head of Prudential Retirement’s structured settlements business. Previously, she served as chief financial officer for Prudential Annuities.



Company: Altegris

Death: Jack Rivkin

On Tuesday, Altegris CEO, Jack Rivkin passed away from cancer. Prior to his death, he served as chief executive officer and chief investment strategist for Altegris.



Company: American Century Investments

Award Recipient: Peter Cieszko

Cieszko and American Century were presented the Legacy of Hope Award at the 14th Annual Hope & Heroes Dinner. The honor is given to "those whose commitment, now and in the future, to the eradication of pediatric cancer is exemplary."



Company: Goldman Sachs

Promotions: Kathleen Hughes, Kathryn Koch, Brendan McGovern, Larry Restieri

Goldman has released this years class of partners, totaling 84, which include Koch, Hughes, McGovern, and Restieri, who all work in Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM).

Departure: Douglas White

White has departed his role as PM to the Nuveen Minnesota Municipal Income Fund. Christopher Drahn will replace him as lead PM.

Addition: C.K. Lee

Lee has been appointed a managing director in its financial institutions group (FIG). Previously, he served as a managing director of the financial institutions group of Commerce Street Capital, LLC.
