Joe Minnix, head of internal sales has departed Allianz, the MFWire has learned.

Minnix did not respond to a request for comment for this story. His former boss, John Carroll, head of US retail at Allianz, also did not respond to a request for comment.

Prior to his departure, Minnix led a team of 19 internal investment consultants charged with the distribution of Allianz mutual funds, closed-end funds and separately managed accounts for roughly six years, according to his LinkedIn profile. In addition to his role on the sales management team, he also served as a member of the business operating committee, working to streamline business practices throughout the firm.

Minnix attend Eastern Connecticut State University and graduated in 1995. He has worked in various positions in the industry ever since.
