A famous fundster is the only person in financial services to make it onto a new list from
Fortune.
| Larry Fink BlackRock Chairman and Chief Executive Officer | |
The folks at the magazine put
BlackRock [
profile] CEO
Larry Fink 21st on their just-released third-annual list of
"the world's 50 greatest leaders." The outspoken, 63-year-old fundster leads the largest asset manager in the world, which includes the largest ETF business in the world.
Fink once
dismissed what he called the "myth" of him
becoming U.S. Treasury Secretary under President Barack Obama. And now rumors are
flying that Fink might play a role in Washington if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency in November.
Yet
Fortune specifically praises Fink for his
long-running, public fight against short-termism.
