At least top mutual fund executive is already favoring one of the 21 candidates running for President of the United State.

Jeb Bush 43rd Governor of Florida, 2016 Presidential Candidate

Greg Ryan of the Boston Business Journal reveals that Bob Reynolds, CEO of Putnam (and of its U.S. parent and sibling Great-West organizations), likes Republican Jeb Bush. Reynolds has contributed to other Republicans in the past.

"Jeb Bush is very pro-business, pro-growth," Reynolds reportedly said. "He proved it when he was governor of Florida. He cut taxes, invested in education. I really like his message. It's a very positive message."

So far, five Democrats and 16 Republicans have thrown their hats into the 2016 ring to vie to take Barack Obama's place.

Reynolds made the remarks Tuesday on a panel put together by the New England chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
