Bill Gross continues to make headlines, this time thanks to a fellow billionaire.
Last week the folks at Gross' new home,
Janus [
profile],
confirmed (and Gross tweeted) that Quantum Partners, a private investment vehicle managed by
George Soros' Soros Fund Management, invested $500 million in a separate account version of the $442.9-million
Janus Global Unconstrained Bond Fund now PMed by Gross. Gross
joined Janus at the end of the September.
Barron's,
Bloomberg,
Business Insider, the
Denver Business Journal, the
Financial Times, the
Los Angeles Times,
Money,
Reuters, and the
Wall Street Journal all covered Gross' win.
Soros Fund Management manages about $28 billion in total, the
WSJ notes.
