Aisha Hunt, a partner and '40 Act specialist at San Francisco-based law firm Dechert LLP, is joining ALPS in Denver as General Counsel. She has recently been assisting many alternative investment firms with setting up mutual funds. Her clients will be transitioned to other partners at the Dechert. Her last day will be this Friday.

Hunt has previously worked in the legal department of several investment firms. She has served as Senior Counsel at Wells Fargo Bank, vice president of Wells Fargo Funds Management, and Associate General Counsel at Dodge & Cox. Prior to joining Dechert in October 2012, she led her own fund practice, Cole-Frieman Mallon & Hunt.

ALPS, which provides administration and distribution services to mutual funds, was acquired by DST in 2011.
