Fundsters shape up, another gatekeeper has ridden into '40 Act Country.

Brian Partridge was recently named head of investment due diligence at Merrill, where his responsibilities include manager and strategy selection as well as due diligence of both traditional and alternative investments.

Partridge is a 19-year veteran of Merrill, having most recently served as managing director, head of capital market investor solutions and before that managing director, head of U.S. structured product sales.
