Dow 20,000 by 2020?

A year and a half ago Seth Masters, chief investment officer of AllianceBernstein's Bernstein Global Wealth Management, offered that prediction. Yet now the accused "starry-eyed optimist" is moving up his time table, landing ink in the Wall Street Journal for his prediction that the Dow Jones Industrial Average will cross that threshold even sooner, by 2018.

"We are actually ahead of schedule," Masters tells the WSJ.
