profile] has brought on a new person to craft its global marketing message.
The New York-based growth shop has hired
Jeanne Sdroulas as senior vice president, head of marketing.
She will be responsible for all aspects of the firm’s marketing efforts and reports to
Jim Tambone, executive vice president, chief distribution officer.
"We are excited to have Jeanne on board,” stated Tambone. “Her expertise in strategic marketing and brand positioning will help us broaden our footprint while strengthening our messaging and brand awareness.”
Sdroulas has 25-years of experience with financial service companies. She joins Alger from
Stone Harbor Investment Partners, where she was global head of marketing.
Before that she served as chief marketing officer at
Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe. She has also worked at Citi, Deutsche Bank, and Merrill Lynch & Co.

Alger Announces New Head of Marketing
NEW YORK, October 10, 2013 – Fred Alger Management, Inc., a leading asset management firm, has announced
that Jeanne Sdroulas has joined Alger as Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing.
In her new role, Jeanne is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s marketing efforts and reports to Jim Tambone,

During her 25 years of experience with financial services firms, Jeanne has held numerous leadership positions
and was responsible for marketing communications, branding, product management, and public relations.
She joins Alger from Stone Harbor Investment Partners LP, where she was Global Head of Marketing. Prior to
Stone Harbor, Jeanne served as Chief Marketing Officer at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. Her previous
experience also includes senior marketing roles at Citi, Deutsche Bank, and Merrill Lynch & Co. Jeanne earned a
BA in economics from Barnard College and an MBA in finance from The Wharton School.
