Lord, Abbett & Co. has added a pair of new equity analysts to its analyst team. The new hires are Thomas Maher and George Melas-Kyriazi. Both will be based in Jersey City.

Maher joins the firm from Invesco Global. He will focus on Lord Abbett's Mid-Cap Growth product and report to Kevin P. Ferguson, Director of Mid-Cap Growth. Melas-Kyriazi was most recently at Galleon Group and is assigned to the Small-Cap Core product reporting to Michael T. Smith, Director of Small-Cap Core.

Maher and Melas-Kyriazi will benefit Lord Abbett and our clients as we continue to develop strong products among asset classes," said Robert Morris, partner and director of Equity Investments in a statement.
