In Morningstar's weekly Fund Times' report, it reported that Arrowpoint Partners closed on the purchase of Aster Investment Management [profile] , the advisor to Meridian funds. Terms were not disclosed, according to Morningstar. The name of Meridian Value has changed to Meridian Contrarian, but the strategy remains the same.

ClearBridge is closing Small Cap Growth as of October 1, Morningstar writes, adding that the fund has $2.6 billion in assets.

In other fund news, UBS [profile] will convert its UBS International Equity Fund into Sustainable Fund and UBS International Equity will change its name to UBS Global Sustainable Equity Fund.
