Jerry Szilagyi appears to be on something of a roll. Following last week's announcement of the hire of wholesaler Marc Jarman, the chief executive of Catalyst [profile] and USA Mutuals [profile] is bringing on yet another wholesaler. Ed Panko starts tomorrow and will cover Connecticut and Westchester, New York, Szilagyi tells MFWire.

Panko joins Catalyst and USA Mutuals from Hartford Funds [profile], where Szilagyi says Panko spent six years in "various wholesaling positions." The hiring spree has only just begun, Szilagyi indicates, stating: "We are still looking to fill other territories including Mid-Atlantic, Northern California and Colorado and an internal wholesaler position in New York."
