Steve Graziano's Touchstone [profile] has a new chief compliance officer.

Timothy Stearns has been named chief compliance officer for the firm and its six fund trusts: the Touchstone Funds Group Trust, Touchstone Institutional Funds Trust, Touchstone Investment Trust, Touchstone Strategic Trust, Touchstone Tax-Free Trust, and the Touchstone Variable Series Trust.

Stearns was previously senior vice president and chief compliance and ethics officer of Envestnet Asset Management, from 2009 to 2013, and chief compliance officer, Americas of Franklin Templeton Investments, from 1997 to 2009.

For the past year, Michael Moser had served as interim CCO of the trusts. His main job, though, is chief compliance officer and vice president of Western & Southern Financial Group. Stearns' appointment allows Moser to focus again on his day job with the parent company.
