OppenheimerFunds [profile] feels that the U.S market is ripe for growth in the domestic equity space.

In light of this optimistic outlook, the NYC-based firm has added the Oppenheimer Main Street Small Cap Fund. The new fund is an extension of Oppenheimer's has seen success in its Main Street (large cap) and Main Street Small & Mid-Cap Funds.

The new fund offering is poised to allow investors to take advantage of the long-term capital appreciation.

Matthew Ziehl heads as lead portfolio manager of the new fund.
