Fixed income remains an interesting, if not perilous, asset category thanks to the Fed. What can the industry do?

Fund researcher Morningstar is devoting a week, April 15 to 19, to address this question, during an event dubbed Future of Fixed Income Week.

Throughout the week, the fund researcher will post a number of reports and analyses on the asset category, delving into possible scenarios for bonds (core, muni, and the more aggressive sectors) and how bond investors can set realistic expectations.

Also featured will be conversations with bigwig bond managers like Dan Fuss of Loomis Sayles, Tad Rivelle of Metropolitan West, Steve Walsh of Western Asset, and Fidelity's Ford O'Neil.

Morningstar has already posted six stories on the subject today, accessible on the firm's Future of Fixed Income Week website.
