Mutual fund companies seem to have caught the product marketing bug.
Just one day after

announced it is looking for a fund marketing head, it turns out that
New York Life is looking for a director of mutual fund product marketing.
According to the
Linkedin posting, the role will "delve into executing marketing campaigns across distribution channels," and is "responsible for supporting MainStay's growing suite of mutual funds."
The executive will be "responsible for managing all aspects of Product Marketing for both mutual funds and retail separately managed accounts (SMAs) through a broad range of investment marketing-related activities."
