Births


Eaton Vance [profile] is launching the Eaton Vance Bond Fund, according to a company news release. The non-diversified fund will be PMed by Kathleen Gaffney, who recently joined the shop from Loomis Sayles.

Index Deletion Strategies and Exchange Traded Concepts announced that the Forensic Accounting ETF (FLAG) began trading earlier this week. The ETF will track the Del Vecchio Earnings Quality Index, created by IDS's John Del Vecchio.

WisdomTree [profile] announced today the launch of the Global Corporate Bond Fund. The actively managed ETF will invest in corporate fixed income securities, according to a company news release.

Pregnancies


AdvisorShares [profile] will be launching four new funds, according to an SEC filing. They will be the Gartman Gold/Yen ETF, the Gartman Gold/Euro ETF, the Gartman Gold/British Pound ETF and the AdvisorShares International Gold ETF.

The Artisan Partners [profile] team is prepping the Artisan Global Small-Cap Growth Strategy for launch early this year, the Milwaukee Business Journal reports. David Geisler, Charles-Henri Hamker and Mark Yockey will PM the fund.

On January 18, iShares [profile] filed to launch 12 more target maturity, investment grade corporate bond ETFs, Morningstar reported. The ETFs will mature in 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2023. Four will be corporate Bond ETFs, four will be corporate financial sector bond ETFs and four will be corporate multi-sector bond ETFs.

Brain Transplants


Chuck Joyce will no longer be the lead PM for the GMO Quality fund, reported Morningstar. Co-managers Tom Hancock and David Cowan will continue on the fund.

New Outfits


Two Thornburg [profile] funds added new R share classes for use in DC and DB funds. The new classes were added to the International Growth Fund and the Developing World Fund. This story was first reported on our sister publication 401kWire.
