Chief executive Matthew Scanlan is continuing his shakeup of RS Investments [profile].
This time the former Barclays Global Investors exec, anointed RS’s CEO in January, has hired a team of 11 investment executives to PM the RS Emerging Markets Fund and the RS Greater China Fund, which were formerly handled by sub-advisor Baillie Gifford Overseas.
Baillie will continue to manage some of RS’s other funds, according to RS.
This is only the latest move by Scanlan to mold his management team. MFWire reported in September that Scanlan replaced at least three members of his C-suite team.
