Fidelity's [profile] institutional money management arm Pyramis Global Advisors has hired two new distribution heads, reports Pensions & Investments. Maureen Fitzgerald will be the head of North American distribution and Colin Fitzgerald will be head of international distribution.

P&I says that this is part of a restructuring of the Pyramis' distribution. The Fidelity subsidiary named Michael A. Jones president and CEO in March, and he's reorganizing the firm to focus on global distribution.

Maureen Fitzgerald was co-head of State Street's North American institutional client group. Colin Fitzgerald comes from the Robeco Group, where he was global head of key accounts. They will both report to Jones.
