Schroders [profile] has announced the hiring of Tiffani Potesta as head of advisory sales for the U.S. key accounts team. She will work under Erin Brenner, Schroder's head of intermediary key accounts.

Potesta will be leaving DWS Investments, where she led the third-party insurance and DC I-O divisions. She was previously a director at First Eagle Funds.

Schroders has been expanding its presence in the U.S. over the last few years, adding to its regional sales teams and bulking up its distribution efforts, as reported on Wire. The company news release announcing this latest hiring notes that the firm is planning to add several new positions, including a sales director for the Northeast region.

Carter Sims, Schroders's head of intermediary distribution, says that Potesta's hiring confirms Schroeders's commitment to continuing its expansion.

"The recent additions are a reflection of our commitment to investing in our intermediary franchise in the US," he said in the release. "This expansion further signifies our success in the US over the last five years. We are committed to thoughtfully growing our U.S. presence with experienced and talented professionals."
