The
BlackRock iShares [
profile] team just updated their
Connect service, which links U.S. financial advisors to specialist ETF investment strategists (EIS). Chris Flood of the
Financial Times reported on the news.
Katharine Earhart, head of the Connect program, told the
FT:
“We are seeing advisers striking partnerships with ETF investment strategists and offering clients institutional quality portfolios that were previously too expensive and impractical for retail investors to own.”
The firm started to track the EIS sector 2008. At the time, iShares executives discovered 25 managers with a total of $5.8 billion in assets under management.
