Granite Investment Advisors' foray into the mutual fund business is gaining more press. The MFWire reported last month that the Concord, New Hampshire-based firm was preparing to launch its debut mutual fund.

Financial Planning also picked up on the launch and reports that the rollout of the Granite Value Fund (GVFIX) will take place this week.
