Los Angeles-based Payden & Rygel [profile] has hired Paul Linko as a business development officer responsible for the Northeastern territories, the MFWire has learned.

Linko is tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with RIA’s, b-d’s, family offices and trust companies.

He previously served as a sales VP at Black Diamond/Advent, a provider of web-based, outsourced portfolio management and reporting platforms for independent advisors. He also served as a senior relationship manager at Schwab Institutional.

Linko was not immediately available to comment on his new position and a spokesperson for the firm could not be reached for comment.
