American Beacon Advisors plans to continue building out its retail sales force.
"The long-term plan is to hire two additional external and ten additional internal wholesalers," said
Gene Needles, president and CEO of the Fort Worth, Texas-based asset manager, in an interview with
The MFWire.com.
"We don't have a set time frame," he added.
Currently, the retail sales force consists of 12 external wholesalers and four internals.
Scott Widder is the national sales manager.
When the additional sales posts are filled, American Beacon will have
a 1:1 ratio of externals to internals.
Needles also revealed that American Beacon plans to launch five products
in the first quarter of next year.
