Legg Mason [see profile] appointed Bryan Ward as its new head of national broker-dealer sales, InvestmentNews reports. Ward will take over from Joe Lohrer, a 25-year Legg Mason veteran who is leaving the company at the end of the month. Lohrer is reportedly headed to the BlackStone Group.
