Paul Hatch Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Head of Investment Strategy and Client Solutions

A host of management changes at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney put the Citi-Morgan Stanley joint venture's top fund gatekeeper atop even more business. On Monday the Wall Street Journal's Deal Journal published a memo from Greg Fleming (head of MSSB and Morgan Stanley's asset management) revealing that investment strategy and solutions chief Paul Hatch just added corporate equity solutions, retirement services and wealth advisory resources to his mandate. The combined unit at the wirehouse is called "Investment Strategy and Client Solutions."

Hatch joined the Smith Barney in 1984 after a short stint in the Navy.
