reports that
George Gatch and his team hired
Lee Beck to oversee the mutual fund firm's relationships with wirehouses and other broker-dealers.
Beck hails from
Pimco [
see profile], where he served as senior vice president in charge of the global strategic relationship team, handling relationships with broker-dealers. At JPMorgan he succeeds
Jed Laskowitz, who climbed to managing director and head of U.S. distribution.
A JPMorgan spokeswoman confirmed the move to INews.
