DWS Snags a First Eagle Exec

DWS Investments has appointed Tiffani Potesta as a director and senior national account manager, responsible for key firm relationships in the national broker dealer channel. She will be based in New York and report to Michael Woods, US head of distribution for DWS Investments Distributors, Inc.

Potesta joins DWS Investments from First Eagle Funds where she served as a director and head of national accounts, responsible for strategic business development and management of all client relationships. Previously, Potesta worked as a vice president and national account manager at Allianz Global Investors.

In a statement, Woods said Potesta's experience and success working with the national broker dealers will be important in helping the firm meet the changing-needs of its growing client-base.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DWS Investments, the US retail unit of Deutsche Bank’s Asset Management division, today announced the appointment of Tiffani Potesta as a Director and Senior National Account Manager. Potesta will be responsible for key firm relationships in the national broker dealer channel. She will be based in New York and report to Michael Woods, a Managing Director, CEO and US Head of Distribution for DWS Investments Distributors, Inc.

Potesta has over 15 years experience working with asset managers, banks, insurance companies, regional and national broker dealer firms. She joins DWS Investments from First Eagle Funds where she served as a Director and Head of National Accounts, responsible for strategic business development and management of all client relationships. Prior to joining First Eagle Funds in 2008, Potesta worked as a Vice President, National Account Manager at Allianz Global Investors.

Potesta is an IMCA® Certified Investment Management Analyst and holds NASD series 7, 63, 24 and 65 licenses. She is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association.
