Executives at UMB Fund Services said they signed 35 new fund clients last year, the most ever they've added in a single year. The previous record was set in 2009.

The Investment Managers Series Trust, co-sponsored by UMBFS and Mutual Fund Administration Corporation, accounted for 13 of the new clients. UMBFS' mutual fund office attracted seven new clients and UMBFS' alternative investments' division added 15.

Clients that signed on during Q4 include American Independence Funds and 361° Capital.
