Rodger Lawson

It was big news last year when Fidelity president Rodger Lawson retired from his post. For fundsters curious about Lawson's life post-Fido, an answer came this morning: Lawson has joined the board of directors at UnitedHealth Group.

Lawson was Fidelity's president from July 2007 to March 2010. Previously, he was vice chairman at Prudential Financial, president and CEO of Van Eck Global and managing director at Bankers Trust. From 1985 to 1991, he led Fidelity's retail operation and before that, was president and CEO of Dreyfus Service Corporation.
