T. Rowe Price [see profile] chairman Brian Rogers and the rest of the Baltimore mutual fund firm's leadership team are hailed as "rock stars" by the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore, according to Gazette.net.

The other rock stars recognized by the alliance are: Maryland State School Superintendent Nancy S. Grasmick; former Baltimore County Executive James T. Smith; Thomas Wilcox, president and CEO of the Baltimore Community Foundation; and Jayfus Doswell, founder of Juxtopia.

The economic alliance are honoring the rock stars as part of a new campaign called "Pride of Greater Baltimore." The campaign will feature profiles of area leaders in ads, marketing materials and web content, according to a press release issued by the alliance.
