Next year,
Ivy Funds plans to roll out an advertising campaign that will include "quick response" ads,
InvestmentNews reports.
"There are so many people today with smart phones that
this just makes sense,"
Lori Dorsey, senior vice
president and director of marketing, told InvestmentNews'
Jessica Toonkel.
Earlier this year,
OppenheimerFunds rolled out QR ads featuring its Rochester municipal bond fund managers.
For its part,
MFS began using QR codes in marketing materials such as brochures in October and the Boston mutual fund firm is exploring the possibility of launching ads with QR codes, according to the report.
