Munder Makes a Buy

Munder Capital Management [see profile] has inked a deal to buy Integrity Asset Management, whose offerings include the Veracity Small Cap Value Fund. The transaction is expected to close by year end. Financial terms of the deal were not made public.

Integrity is an institutional investment manager with total AUM of more than $3 billion across its value-oriented equity strategies. Its small cap value mutual fund has $194.7 million of assets.

Louisville, Kentucky-based Integrity, which has investment operations in Rocky River, Ohio, will retain its name, location and brand. Investment strategies and management teams will not change, according to a press release on Wednesday.

Grail Partners was Birmingham, Michigan-based Munder Capital's financial advisor. Integrity was advised by Colchester Partners.

Munder Capital to Acquire Integrity Asset Management

BIRMINGHAM, Mich.--Munder Capital Management, a money management firm serving institutional and individual investors, today announced that it is acquiring Integrity Asset Management, a Louisville, KY-based institutional investment management firm with investment operations in Rocky River, OH. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Under the agreement, the firm will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Munder Capital Management. Integrity Asset Management's investment strategies and management teams will remain in place, and it will retain its current name, location, and brand.

Integrity, with more than $3.0 billion in assets under management1, provides investment management services to a diverse group of corporate, public, endowment, foundation, Taft-Hartley, and sub-advisory clients. The firm has demonstrated its expertise in managing value-oriented equity strategies by providing clients with consistently strong risk-adjusted returns, leading it to be named in recent years as one of "The Best Managers You Have Never Heard Of" by PLANSPONSOR magazine.

This partnership enables both firms to leverage each firm’s strengths. The transaction is expected to close by December 31, 2010, subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of client approvals.
