It's the second coming of Affinity Investment Advisors. Gregory Lai's six-member domestic large-cap equity management team, which joined Invesco as part of its purchase of Morgan Stanley Investment Management's retail business earlier this year, has reportedly left to relaunch Affinity Investment Advisors, according to Pensions & Investments.

Lai's team was acquired by Morgan Stanley in May 2007 (see The MFWire 05/03/2007) .
