Jonathan Thomas American Century Investments President and CEO

Over the past half century American Century transformed from a family business relying on investors to seek out its growth-focused mutual funds to an asset manager that is fully diversified across product lines and channels.

The relatively-youthful Thomas took the top job from William Lyons in 2007 after joining the fund firm as CFO in 2005. With a background at both Morgan Stanley and Fidelity Investments he also has an understanding of the marketing and distribution challenges facing fund firms in the 21st century.
