Don Phillips Morningstar President of Fund Research

With its post-IPO spate of acquisitions, Morningstar only continues to gain influence in the fund industry. In its bread-and-butter business it continues to steer fund flows as investors and advisors continue to be guided by its stars.

Phillips was Morningstar's first mutual fund analyst and was the initial editor of Morningstar Mutual Funds and is credited with creating the Morningstar Style Box. He remains a star maker and the face of Morningstar to the fund community.
