Chris Donahue Federated Investors CEO

Federated Investors CEO Chris Donahue, one of the most prolific acquirers, continues to be on the hunt for deals, telling InvestmentNews that the Pittsburgh firm was searching for a global asset manager that could bolster its fixed-income lineup.

He also said that Federated is looking at all opportunities ("Everything that goes by, we are looking at"). However, he was mum on whether Federated is a bidder for Pioneer Investments.
