Madison County Circuit Judge David Hylla last month refused to grant a class action bid by Robert Potter, who sued Janus in 2003 over the timing of trades, The St. Claire Record reports.

In a July 22 ruling, Hylla said Potter "could pursue an individual claim against Janus but not a class action," according to the report.
