The Newport Beach, California-based firm, known for its bond fund offerings, tapped
as executive vice president
and emerging market portfolio manager. She came from
Goldman Sachs Asset Management
, where she most recently ran
the Goldman Sachs Emerging Markets Equity Fund
and co-managed the Goldman Sachs BRIC Fund.
has taken over Gordon's duties, according to Goldman Sachs spokeswoman Melissa Daly.
Gordon will join Pimco's London office in October
and head up the the emerging markets equity team.
Pimco also recently hired Rebecca Babin
