Forward Management is looking for a wholesaler to cover the Northwest territory. San Francisco-based Forward is "in the very early stages" of the search, said Jeff Cusack, the company's president, in an interview with The MutualFundWire.

The wholesaler will report to Cusack.

Cusack said he is looking for someone with a strong wirehouse and RIA sales background to complement the internal wholesaler in that territory who already has strong relationships in the independent broker-dealer channel.

The previous occupant of the external wholesaler post, Kris Jamison, moved on to a Forward affiliate during the second quarter.

Forward currently has six external and seven internal wholesalers.
