Natixis Global Associates hired Shannon Massey to co-run its internal sales desk. Massey joins Jeff Clough in managing the desk and reports to Ed Farrington.

Massey started at Natixis last month.

Bringing in a second leader for internal wholesalers "helps to meet the expanding growth of NGA’s organization," Natixis spokeswoman Jeanette Harrison-Sullivan wrote in e-mailed comments to The MFWire.

The total number of internal wholsalers couldn't be immediately confirmed.

Massey previously worked as a defined contribution strategist at Mercer. Earlier, she was with AllianceBernstein as a client service officer.

"We plan to replace her role, but for now Mercer colleagues are handling her previous responsibilities," according to Mercer spokesman Bruce Lee.
